Updated Gladiators!

Monday, September 22nd, 2008

Jimmy Choo High Heel GladiatorsOh wow! I have officially found my dream shoe! Being an avid gladiator sandal fan during the summer, it is no wonder that these Jimmy Choo’s are calling my name!

Jimmy Choo has successfully created a glossier and more sophisticated style of the gladiator that I just can’t resist! The neutral colour will go with pretty much everything, which only adds to the number reasons why I need to buy these shoes! Personally I think they would look hot with the leather legging trend that is really big at the moment. Ooooo I wonder if they do a matching clutch?!

If you’re wondering how to get your hands on a pair of these lovelies, check out Net a porter and buy your Jimmy Choo Atlas patent sandals today for £450.

The Lace Up Pump

Monday, September 22nd, 2008

Topshop Marigold Lace UpLast season was all about the canvas lace up and the ballet pump, and Autumn/Winter sees the two combined, to create the lace up leather pump. These shoes are great for winter - more sturdy and durable than a pump and the leather finish means they’re waterproof - so perfect for the inevitable rainy English winter.

Lace up pumps are slowly making their way into the shops, and if you want to snap up some straight away then Topshop have the best selection. For the truly daring there’s the Marigold Patent Lace Up Shoe in pink. This design seems to borrow more from tap shoes than anything else, with a low block heel and and rounded toe. If you’re after something a bit more subtle then you can also get the Marigold in a plain navy blue or black leather finish.

Costing £28, you can get them from the Topshop website now.

Mc’Queen Union Jack Boots Heritage is definitely at Alexander Mc Queens heart this season; the union jack has embellished cardigans through to footwear! The latest being these fantastic Union Jack ankle boots!

Worn with ultra skinny jeans a sleek white blouse and loose blazer would really compliment these boots as lets face you want to wear something simple to let the boots do the talking.

If you’re proud to be British or simply love the boots, why not make a statement and order yourself a pair for £600 from Browns fashion!

Strappy Platforms!

Thursday, September 18th, 2008

ALEJANDRO INGELMO STRAPPY SANDALSAfter the utra strappy gladiator sandals bombarded our highstreet for summer, it is only right that they’re reinvented for winter!

Strappy sandals are once again key this season; Alejandro Ingelmo has proved this with this fab pair of brown strappy cut out shoes! I must add that platforms are also totally hot for winter; an outfit wouldn’t look right without them!

So invest in a pair of statement heels this winter to wear with that must have LBD. These shoes can be purchased from Browns fashion for £625.00!

Fringed Accessories!

Thursday, September 18th, 2008

Fringed AccessoriesFringing is everywhere! We have already seen this detail applied to clothing but now it’s all about fringed accessories!! Yes footwear and bags are injected with this fab detail that is beginning to make quite a statement! Topshop have guided us through this trend with these fabulous fringes!

I really want all of these accessories, they are just so cute! The ankle boots with fringed detail would be great with a pair of ultra skinny denims, for £60, they are a good investment! However if you’re looking for something a bit more substantial why not go for the full length boot for just £20 more!

I am absolutely in love with this fringed clutch; it can be worn as a cross body bag during the day then as a clutch in the evening! Perfect a 2 in 1 bag for just £32!

The New Style Boot

Monday, September 15th, 2008

TopshopbambibootSo there’s a new boot in town. Not content with the knee high or over-knee variations, we now have the on-the-knee boot. Much more flattering to the leg, and in keeping with the drainpipe type shape the skinnie jean creates, the on-the-knee style keeps legs looking longer and is the latest look for Autumn.

I am personally a big fan – they create very straight drain pipe looking legs which give a bit of a tom-boy type feel. By ending at the knee you loose the natural curve of the leg and therefore these give a very sharp look – great for the tough looks next season!

Get yours from Topshop for £95.

Ballerina’s in Fashion?

Thursday, September 11th, 2008

Ballerina PumpsSo how many you own a pair of ballerina pumps? Probably most of you, although I’m not a fan of the shoe (I think they make your legs look stumpy) I have to admit I do have a pair just because they’re so comfy and practical!

Now it seems the latest trend on the pump scene is ballerina shoes, I spotted this pair of ballerina shoes when I went to Topshop recently and couldn’t believe that the shoe we all know well especially if you did dance when you were younger is actually becoming fashionable, whatever next!

This particular pair has a cute ribbon tie and comes in an array of colours, to find out more go to Topshop online!

Butterfly Louboutins!

Tuesday, September 9th, 2008

Louboutin Chiffon Pleated ShoesI do love a pair of Louboutins and I particularly love these! Designed in the shape of a butterfly, these Louboutin’s are truly unique and would look great with the very on trend ‘LBD’.

Butterflies have been everywhere this summer, influencing prints and clothing shapes but this is the first time I have seen them applied to footwear and who better to do it first than Louboutin! The delicate pleated chiffon detailing on the front of the foot reflects the delicate butterfly wing and really accentuates the luxurious ness of the shoe.

If you have a special occasion this winter and are in need of a pair of elegant Louboutins, look no further than Browns fashion, this particular pair comes with a price tag of £450!

Pixie Shoes

Monday, September 8th, 2008

Chloe Raised Leaf BootsThese Chloe Raised leaf boots are so cute and great for next season’s trends and with the combination of the sludgy grey colour tone, snakeskin and patent luxury detailing, these grey ones are ticking all the right boxes for the grunge lux look.

I’ve also seen these boots in a ‘forest green’ colour which are perfect for the popular for the folk look (also coined as ‘faerie-queene’ trend) which will feature lots of nature inspired designs. What more could a faerie queene wish for than their own pair of green leaf booties for the ultimate grown-up forest fairy feel?

These are fun and cute and you can get yours online from Net-a-porter for £795.
