So we all know that butterflies and dragonflies are an inspiration for many designers this summer, however some designers may have taken their love for these beautiful creatures a little too far! Take for example this bizarrely unique pair of boots from Miu Miu with huge dragonflies on the front!
I personally think these boots are grotesque, however if you want to make a statement and love dragonflies, these boots maybe just what you have been looking for, but I sincerely hope not! If you were to wear these boots ensure that you wear something very plain with them to avoid looking like a clown!
The price of these boots is £2,155, to get a closer look and to find out where to purchase them from check out Stylefinder.

Wow have I got a collaboration for you! Hot British designer; Marios Shwab has recently joined forces with shoe guru Scorah Patullo to produce an eccentric and unique collection that is just too tempting, so if you have a shoe fetish I suggest you look away now!
Marios and Scorah Patullo have worked together to produce 8 new styles for spring/summer 08, heres what they have to say about the collection:
“Think the usual uber-sexy restrained burlesque but combined with typical Greek sandal styling.”
If you ask me this is a winning combination as the shoes are divine! Usually I wouldn’t even dream of wearing a pair of white shoes but this pair is an exception to the rules! I am absolutely in love with this stunning pair of sandals that have an interesting futuristic/sporty look! A prominent feature of this collection is the cut out heel; original but how strong are these heels?!!
Buy both pairs today from Scorah Pattullo online for £350 each!

I am super excited by a new pair of sandals I came across when planning my summer shoe collection today. It’s this pair of Giuseppe Zanotti Satin Rose sandals. It may be because I have never seen anything like them before but I just cannot stop longing for them.
The silver leather flat thong sandal has a red and white satin rose attached to the top strap which is so feminine, chic and dare I say romantic. Also they are ideal for both day and night so what are you waiting for?
At £320 they are quite pricey for sandals but comfort and beauty doesn’t often come cheap. Get yourself a pair at Net A Porter online now.

I know it seems strange that planning for the summer would involve investing in some good Wellington boots but if you have ever been to Glastonbury or ever been travelling you will understand what I mean.
Each year some of my friends have either been away jungle trekking on their travelling expedition or festival frolicking at Glasto or V and they have all come back wishing they had invested in a pair of strong and stylish Wellington boots. So I have found some excellently cool Wellington boots by Hunter. Available in many different colours including green, pale pink, red and lime green they will assist your adventures this summer.
The Hunter Wellington boots are available at My Wardrobe online costing £50.

I love this time of year when we get a taste of the new summer footwear as it starts to enter our favourite stores and hopefully into our summer wardrobes!
One collection of summer footwear I have looked at this week is Stella Mc Cartney’s, who has shown she isn’t afraid of a heel! Yes these sandals have the most colossal heel that would be a struggle for even a supermodel to walk in, but they of course look fabulous so who cares!
One of my favourite pairs from the collection is this beautiful pair of sandals; the intricate beading gives them a cool tribal look that always works well in the summer! The combination of vibrant colours is perfect for those hot sunny days we are all longing for! To check out the rest of Stella’s footwear range, check out her new website.

Stylish, cute and comfy ballet pumps will always be a ‘must have’ in the wardrobe. Miu Miu just happen to have to have some delightfully cute ones this season and I am in awe. The fabulous designer brand can do no wrong and with Kirsten Dunst on board with their advertising spreads the image given off is so feminine and chic.
Worn during the day or at night the flats are so versatile they would work with almost any outfit. The anthracite leather banana flats have a Swarovski crystal brooch on the front, an almond toe and a grosgrain trim.
Get yourself a pair of Miu Miu Metallic banana flats at Net A Porter costing a ‘well worth it’ £265.

For those of you that love your heels you are going to relish in the new trend that is set to hit our highstreets throughout spring/summer 08! This new trend will bring heels into the spotlight as ornate and intricate detailing is set to embellish those towers we walk on!
Miu Miu is never one to shy away from new trends and they have successfully proved this with their new breathtaking collection of shoes that feature the most wanted decorative heel! Here are two examples from the Miu Miu collection to blow you away!
The first pair on the left are fantastic evening sandals, the stunning bejewelled platform heel will have passers by staring at your feet all evening so be sure that they’re perfectly manicured before wearing these lovelies!
The pair on the right are a fantastic day time alternative; the floral carved wooden heel is a fantastic way to adopt the floral trend and arts and craft movement this spring! Teamed with a coral summer dress or sexy summer shorts; these shoes are all you need to update your summer wardrobe, all we need now is some sun! Not so easy!
Both sandals can be purchased from net a porter.

Forget your heels! Give your feet a rest and turn to Stella Mc Cartneys uber trendy Blue mesh flats!
It is refreshing to see a pair of flats that are actually stylish, cool and best of all; not frumpy! The vivid blue colour is what immediately attracted me to these shoes as I must admit I have a bit of a blue fetish at the moment. However when I looked beyond the colour I noticed the patent trim that made me fall even more in love with them!
These shoes are great for casual wear and would really bring life to a pair of washed out denims! However net a porter have recommended breaking up a black outfit with them, which looks fab too! I guess the choice is yours! For £215 buy your Stella McCartney Mesh flats today from Net a porter.

It wasn’t long ago that shoes dominated fashion print (think Marc Jacobs and his interesting heel shapes), only since summer fashions have taken over have we seen less of the platform. But they are still available and are now dominating many shoe retail websites.
Kurt Geiger is a company with many to choose from. These Carvela, Goldie platform stilettos pictured here are just one of the many available. Coming in black, these platforms give many optional colours to wear them with, but I think these shoes would look fab with some skinny or flared jeans and a glamorous top.
Get your pair from Kurt Geiger online costing £100 with free standard delivery in the UK.

I first caught glimpse of these gorgeous pointed black, Louboutin courts just over a year ago in Selfridges and haven’t seen them since, until now.
I think this pair maybe a little higher than the ones I originally wished for but the higher the better, hard hitting designer fashion does not always mean pleasure without pain. These Declic Leather almond toe Pumps are fabulous! The smart and sophisticated look makes them the shoes that will match pretty much anything and with the high stiletto heel, they will lengthen legs.
Get your pair of Christian Louboutin Declic leather pumps at Net-A-Porter, costing £350.
