I’ve just discovered a top favourite accessories label in the form of Jessica Kagan Cushman who, among other things, creates slogan bangles made from Fossilized Mammoth Ivory!
The Ivory comes from Mammoths which would have died of natural caused more than 10,000 years ago and are now extinct. (The ivory is free of the import/export regulations which apply to elephant ivory).
So you can now have a piece of ancient history sitting right there on your arm.
Jessica names tattoos, movie quotes and graffiti as her inspiration, and as a result has created these rather witty little slogan bracelets.
This slogan reads ’Truly fabulous people never get dressed before lunchtime,’ other slogan’s include ‘Does this bangle make me look fat?’ & ‘New shoes cure the blues’.
Get yours from Browns for £80.

Another month, another £50 challenge! As well as the challenge of creating an outfit for under 50 quid I also pushed the brief further to challenge myself to recreate one of my favourite A/W 08 catwalk looks. The look I picked is this wonderful punk inspired outfit by Thakoon. Their spin on ladylike structure combined with punk-esque prints are bang on trend and gorgeous.
To recreate this look for under £50 I hit Primarni (also known as Primark to some) and found this gorgeous wrap print dress for just £14. With both a serious ladylike shape and featuring the all important tartan check – this is a winner. I couldn’t resist their £3 studded waist cincher or £12 patent lace up platforms either – top marks to Primark as always!
Then onto Tabio who stock great everyday knee socks as well as many innovative and whacky designs, but I love these cotton silky feeling over knees for just £13.
Finally, statement jewellery and gems will be big next season (the bigger the better) and this black gem ring will be great to top off this outfit and great, too, for many other looks such as gothic chick, grunge lux and the LBD craze to name a few. At £8 it keeps me in budget and will keep you on trend.

Dress £14 Primark
Over Knee Socks £13 Tabio
Ring £8 ASOS
Shoe Boots £12 Primark
Belt £3 Primark
Total £50 – Victory is mine!

They have an abundance of fantastic jewellery and bag collections to really set your heart racing and the best thing is they are in sale!
Here I have given you an example of what to expect from the site, these are all bags from designer Timmy Woods. I have to say they are all very Sex and the City, I’m sure Carrie had a very similar Eiffel tower bag in the film that I lusted over!

Check out this great site that I stumbled across; The Shopfloor Project! It was created by mother and daughter Denise and Samantha Allan in order to provide a space to “sell, exhibit and commission works by the most interesting artists and designers from around the world.”
One of my favourite finds from their selection of talent is St Erasmus; a company created by African born, Indian based jeweller Peter Erasmus. This particular necklace is from a collection called Ancient Tribe, the inspiration for this collection came from North African landscapes and architectural patterns. The detail in this piece is truly exquisite and is bound to gain a huge fan base!
Purchase this piece from the Shopfloor Project for £195!

I am a sucker for turquoise accessories this year and when I saw this ring it was love at first sight! I don’t believe in spending a fortune on accessories as in a couple of months trends will change and no doubt so will my taste, so this ring seems like the perfect buy!
For a very reasonable £12 it would be rude not to buy such a great accessory! It is a key statement ring, the large oval acrylic stone is complimented by beautiful aqua marine rhinestones, which are very pretty against the antique gold effect ring.
If you have an obsession with turquoise this summer too, be sure to check the great range of turquoise accessories from Topshop.

The ethnic style is always a great look for summer; this would explain why it always seems to be a hot trend every year! I think the best way to portray this look is with accessories; stacking bangles, layering lots of multicoloured beaded necklaces is just a couple of essential ways you can achieve this look.
If you are unsure of what necklaces to layer and what bangles to stack, Topshop has created the ultimate ethnic necklace to help you along the way! It’s a great accessory that combines many rows of individual beaded necklaces to make a statement and really enhance that ethnic look.
For £20 I think it is well worth the money, Buy yours today from Topshop online.

I am a huge fan of Missoni, their spring collection is absolutely stunning this year, which is mostly due to their fabulous prints!
However as I was browsing the Missoni website, I came across their accessory collection and was blown away! They have some really beautiful jewellery that has been inspired by nature, blossoming pendants on necklaces and earrings in lilacs pinks and yellows are so pretty and delicate. In contrast they have produced some really chunky necklaces out of geometric shapes, these are great too; real statement jewellery!
Check out their accessories online for yourself, you won’t be disappointed!

Accessories are key for making a statement and CC Skye have yet again produced a fantastic collection of jewellery for us all to lust over!
This gold screw embellished bracelet is definitely one to look out for! It’s really unique and comes in an array of different colours including black and white patent, however my favourite is the gold patent one as shown here! I love the contrast of the patent strap with the gold screws, utterly fabulous! For $92; approximately £45, you can treat yourself to this unique piece of jewellery!
