One fashion event you can get tickets to is the London Fashion Weekend that follows the highly anticipated fashion week. Still just as cool but with a few less celebrities, London Fashion Weekend starts on the 24th of September and finishes on the 28th.
Get in the mix with some of London’s hottest designers, catwalks and clothes. This year Elle have got involved and promise to bring you up to date with all the happenings from fashion week as well as hosting the first ever fashionably late Friday that boasts wine and a DJ for after work relaxation. Not content with just the catwalk shows and shopping well amongst other things there will be a champagne bar, a Toni & Guy stand offering hair and beauty tips and a St Tropez booth.
For more information about the event and to book tickets which are on sale now starting from £10 plus booking fee visit fashion weekend online.

Fashion Week is coming to London and with that comes an exciting line up of designers.
Some of the hottest designers are set to show their collections on the catwalk and that includes the highly successful and quirky designer, Luella, Julien Macdonald with his sex appeal collection and cutting edge designer Giles Deacon. Obviously I know these fashion shows are invite only, but get excited about the after parties and the store events. The London Fashion Week website lists the hottest parties, the coolest clubs and the best store events, so give it a browse to see how you can get in on London’s coolest week on the calendar.
It begins on the 14th of September and ends on the 19th.

I’ve just enjoyed a lovely evening in front of the TV and received my daily fashion fix in the form of Gok Wan! I love the show and watch every week, my only criticism is that they let him win every time. Sometimes the designer styles are just so pristine and irresistible that they deserve to win for the sheer class they exude.
Tonight is a perfect example, we saw an amazing red Sari Gueron dress, black feathered Temperley dress and this stunning Jonathan Saunders Ellesmere gown (pictured left). This black and white creation was by far my favourite piece of the evening; elegant, chic and so classy, the designer side deserved to win for this dress alone in my opinion.
I’ve just been over to Net-a-porter and it is currently available for £1420, partner with a simple black clutch and some patent black peep-toes, Louboutins if possible!
Although I loved the designer side, the high street dresses were also fabulous and Gok managed to put some stunning outfits together. If I had to pick one I’d have to choose the blue maxi dress from H&M with the wide Warehouse belt and Topshop sandals, the colour of the dress was beautiful and looked so much better after the alterations.
I also loved the Ripple Cuff Platform Sandals from Topshop that were partnered with the H&M dress. They’re rather unique and a must have if you dress to impress and want to keep up with the trends. They cost £65 and are available in navy blue or lilac.

Again I am always a little early at planning the winter wardrobe but I insist on writing a piece on this dress because it is such a wondeful ball gown for the Christmas party season.
As seen on the runway this fall the Vera Wang Silk taffeta dress combines an asymmetrical neckline and full skirt to create a perfectly fitted and flattering gown. The added extra of a self tie bow provides a luxurious finish and splendid finish.
Ideal for any winter ball, if you can afford the dress invest in it at Net a Porter costing £1,275.

Oscar de la Renta creates the most luxuriously beautiful dresses every season and to add to the long line of hits that I have wrote about before e.g. the bubble hem, this new creation lands on my web page.
A Oscar de la Renta Saffron floral dress in 50’s style complete with a pleated full skirt and high neck. Florals are set to stay in season and this mixture of colour has autumn and winter all over it rather than the summery light colours we got so use to seeing last season. Match with some black or red courts for the finishing touch.
A true work of art for your wardbrobe this fall, the Oscar de la Renta dress is avaiable at Net A Porter now, priced at £2,540.

This Orange ruffle dress by Karen Zambos just screams summer! The colour, and the shape of the ruffles make everything about this dress cute and chic.
The three layers of ruffles makes this dress flattering and perfect for any body shape. Look gorgeous this summer in bright colours, and you can get your very own Karen Zambos dress at www.bunnyhug.co.uk for as little as £195!

Swarovski crystals that is! We’re seeing them on everything these days, and they look amazing… especially on clothes. Gorgeous Couture (www.gorgeouscouture.com) have made a stunning line of dresses with these pretty little crystals, calling it Crystalized.
There’s over 50 unique dresses done up with Swarovski’s! If that isn’t amazing enough, at Gorgeous Couture they have a special section called “Made to Measure” where you can get a dress in any size, and any colour, customized to fit you!
Personally, I fell IN LOVE with the bronze “Paris Blush” swarovski dress (pictured). A dress like this puts you back £155, but it looks worth every penny.

The little black dress is a must have item in your wardrobe but what about the other little dresses? There are so many colours that are not just in for one season and this dress is definitely one to wear over and over again because of its beauty.
The See by Chloe silk v-neck mini dress is cute, feminine and sexy. The baby blue coloured empire line dress will compliment any skin tone and the low v-necks at the back and front are so sexy, revealing a little skin but not too much. Perfect for any elegant evening, match with some sandals, courts or flats.
The See by Chloé Silk V-neck mini dress is available at Net a Porter costing just £315.

Marchesa continues to wow a crowd by designing another stunningly sexy mini dress complete with fine and fabulous detailing.
The black strapless tiered lace mini dress combines lace and beading in a divine way by placing lace tiers on the chest area of the dress and all the way down below the waist line while the waist band dazzles with delicate beading. With a boned bodice the dress provides support and there is a zip that fastens at the back of the dress. This would be prefect for smart and sophisticated cocktail parties on the roof this summer.
Get your Marchesa Tiered lace dress now at Net A Porter costing a mere £2,195.

The most stunningly beautiful dress Marchesa has created in my opinion is here and I am in complete awe. With an icy and sparkly look this dress is just amazing and so made for royalty.
Like many this is the sort of dress I dream of wearing and owning, like something out of Enchanted. The strapless dove silk blend dress combines beading, lace and delicate patterning in such a perfectly elegant way. With a boned bodice and asymmetric finish it is ideal for both slim and curvaceous women. Expect to see it on many of the beautiful Hollywood A-listers.
If you can afford it invest in it, the Marchesa Strapless embroidered dress is £3,640 and available at Net-A-Porter.
