My latest obsession is pleats! I have to say I have an extremely weak spot for all things pleated this season and it seems like the top designers do too; Burberry, Pringle, Givenchy, Stella Mc’Cartney and Alberta Ferretti have all put their own mark on the pleat technique and the result is ‘Pleated to Perfection’!

Alberta Ferretti hasn’t failed to overwhelm me with his stunning take on pleats with this simply divine grey strapless chiffon dress (left). Pleated in a unique spiral design with the use of the very ‘now’ ombre dyeing technique, this dress has absolutely no flaws.

Stella Mc’Cartney has also inspired me with her very sophisticated silk silk pleated halter dress (right), slightly more low key and subtle but equally as desirable. Both dresses can be purchased from Net-a-porter.
