Laura Ashley's 15% Off

Monday, September 24th, 2007

Laura Ashley Satin DressRecently I have discovered just how cute and chic Laura Ashley’s clothing and home furnishings are so imagine my excitement when I realised there is a 15% discount on selected fashion items.

I am a huge floral fan and Laura Ashley’s signature style is floral patterned delights but a different styled dress has caught my eye. Ideal for cocktail parties and weddings, this little number will certainly melt a crowd.

This adorably elegant blue satin seamed dress. The dress is a silk blend fabric which is nipped in just the right places. Now I know summer is over but aren’t we allowed to be a little nostalgic? The dress is available on the Laura Ashley website and costs just £68.00. Perfect!

Thanks to good old River Island we no longer have to freeze with these new knee high socks that are great for wearing with shorts whilst we get into those autumn months! They are so cute and they follow the bow trend that is really hot this season. These socks come in cream and black and cost £4.99, just a small price to pay for keeping those legs warm!

I think they’re a great alternative to tights and perfect for this time of year, I’m definitely going down to my nearest River Island store to stock up on these beauties!

Pussy Bow ShirtPussy bows are soooo in this season! They’re everywhere and I think they look great! If you’re after a sexy 40’s siren look, you definitely need to adopt this hot new trend. These pussy bows look great around the neck of blouses or dresses particularly in delicate silks for a smart yet trendy look.

I’ve been hunting for a sexy blouse to really show off this trend and I think I’ve found a winner! French connection have really gone to town with the pussy bow trend and have a great range of dresses and blouses to choose from, however I’m in love with this plum satin blouse for £70! Not only have they got the style right, this rich purple colour is so in right now!

The Chanel 2.55

Saturday, September 22nd, 2007

Chanel 2.55 BagI know this craze has been plastered on pages and pages of fashion print but I keep seeing the bags everywhere and I adore them. The Chanel quilted, lambskin 2.55 bag is the ultimate ‘it’ bag and had been since 1955 when it was created.

A long list of America’s sweethearts Lindsay Lohan, Rachel Bilson, Mischa Barton, Nicole Richie and Paris Hilton to name a few, sport the bag on many shopping trips and events and it is now the world’s number one ‘it’ bag. Balenciaga, Fendi, the Chloe Paddington and the Louis Vuitton monogram are all still popular designs but nothing like the Chanel 2.55.

The Chanel 2.55 small lambskin bag starts from £1,060 and the large starts at around £1,200. Visit for more information on Chanel products or visit the Chanel store in London to purchase the fashion savvy purse.

This cute little 2.55 bag pictured is available for just $150 at Ebely’s!

To The Ballet!

Saturday, September 22nd, 2007

Tara ShrugI’ve just spent the morning browsing Boohoo’s website for a new handbag and found this cute cardi; not what I’m supposed to be looking for but never mind! It’s called a Tara shrug and looks a little bit like a ballet dancer’s cardigan. It is a plain cotton v-neck shrug and comes in black or white.

I’m always after something to put on over my outfit when I’m going out, just to take the chill off these cold nights we have been experiencing. Ideal I think and for just £8 you really can’t go wrong. Take a look on Boohoo’s website if you get a minute, they really do have so many great outfits; I never know what to look at first. They also have a wide range of jewellery and handbags that you can’t miss out on.

Grey Is The Colour

Friday, September 21st, 2007

Grey Zip BlazerEveryone is going crazy for grey at the moment. Just as the children have started their autumn term, the classroom grey is the latest celeb colour crush. This grey blazer is just one of many grey items out there that all the celebs are wearing. You must be careful though because grey can leave your skin looking pasty, so make sure you get rid of the pale with an all over body bronzer.

Grey doesn’t always have to be boring, vamp it up with bright colours or show off a bit of flesh. Try a pair of shiny slate boots with a grey dress or a chunky charcoal knit. This jacket is from Topshop and costs £60.

Reiss online!

Wednesday, September 19th, 2007

Reiss OnlineFinally I can shop for my favourite brand; Reiss online! It’s been a long wait but yes they’ve finally joined the online shopping phenomena! Reiss is known for its class and sophistication, their style is simple and chic with a touch of glamour.

I always head to Reiss when in need of that special dress as they never seem to disappoint! However recently they have been expanding their accessories line, and in result looking to open stand alone accessories stores, I’m very excited as I have always loved their accessories!

BeltHere I have given you a little taster of what’s to expect from their accessories line with these gorgeous belts, embellished with pyramid studs; a definite must have for this season! With a colour option of black or bronze, it’s hard to decide as they’re both gorgeous and not cheap; £69 so be sure to make the right decision!

The menswear collection is also pretty good too, so if you’re stuck on what to get your bloke for an upcoming birthday, it’s definitely worth a taking look!
