Trendy designer Christian Louboutin has really set the style with these Jaws Platform Pumps. In my eyes they are perfect, nothing could improve the design except maybe the £430 price tag that comes with them! The contrasting nude and black really forces the zigzag edging to stand out and the patent tie bow at the front and patent covered heel adds that little bit more glamour to the design.

I love the way Net-a-porter have dressed the model with a high waisted pencil skirt and plain nude colour top; simple colours should be worn with this design so the shoes are the main focus of the outfit, after all… you want to show these beauties off.

OK so £430 is a little overboard for many of us so why not pick a similar high street style like these leather peep-toes from Faith. The ankle strap adds a sophisticated edge to the design and at £50 they are much more affordable. Again these shoes would look fab with a black pencil skirt and white shirt – great for the office or for a drink with friends. Unfortunately the Christian Louboutin Jaws platform pumps will have to remain on my wish list but these Faith Ivory Courts can be more of a reality!
