Ok shoes are officially going crazy this autumn/winter! Forget the clothes all you need is a pair of statement shoes to really make your outfit. I know I have already talked about the new “ankle boot” and I could just get my head around Manolo Blahnik’s “Hairy shoes” but Balenciaga have taken it to the next level with their new shoe collection for autumn/winter 07.

Their new ultra modern shoe collection will certainly turn heads, check out this pair of peep toe boots taken from the Balenciaga website, I did hear that peep toe boots were an up and coming trend for the winter but I never expected anything like this!

My first thoughts when I saw them is that they look like something you would wear when skate boarding or doing some kind of extreme sport as the detail includes plastic guards and padding!
