Must Have Floor Sweeping Maxi Dresses
Monday, April 23rd, 2007
Catwalk shows predicted that mini skirts you daren’t bend over in would be the hottest style of the summer but they overlooked the popularity of the maxi dress. Some of the hottest style icons such as Paris Hilton, Jessica Simpson and Kate Moss have all been spotted in the latest trendy floor-sweeping maxi dresses. Paisley patterns and summery colours such as yellow and green are the must have designs that every girl should have in her wardrobe.
The great thing about these dresses is that can hide a lot of lumps and bumps; to wear a mini skirt you have to be confident about your legs but you certainly don’t have to in a maxi dress. If your hips are your problem area try a high waist line so the dress begins to float before your hips are visible – an instant slimmer!
The dresses above are all from Warehouse, my personal favourite is the palm print maxi (2nd from the right), it has a great summery design but will set you back £55. Visit the Warehouse Website for all their latest summery dresses.

I have just been over to ASOS.com to look for a dress for a party next weekend and they have got the most amazing sale on; I think it ends today so get in quick while you still can. Some items are up to 75% off and many ½ half price and it’s not like a normal high street sale; they actually have some really great items in the clearance section.
These leopard print shoes are now just £15 reduced from £30, they are so cute and have a little black bow at the back to finish off the style; how nice would they look with a little black dress and matching leopard print clutch bag! I think the shoe section has the most variety but there are some great dresses and accessories as well.
I have yet again fallen in love with a handbag and this time it’s a summery slouchy grab bag from Truly Radley Deeply. It is made from gorgeous soft grainy red leather and is decorated with colourful embroidered circles that look a little like pie charts! On either side of the bag is a tassel made up of leather patches, metal charms and brown wooden circles.
The new Georgina Goodman Range hit the shelves at Evans today hoping to draw in a crowd of shoppers and to create an interesting new look in the shops. Georgina’s Autumn/Winter 2006 collection was a big hit and I’m sure this new Spring/Summer 2007 range will be just as popular.
